About

Two nomads = One American + One Welshman. One narrative = this blog! We left our homes in May 2009 with a one way ticket to Bangkok & travelled around South East Asia for 3 months before moving to South Korea to teach English. We finished our one year contracts for public schools in Ulsan before hitting the road again through India for 9 weeks & then on to Nepal for a month. We are currently living & working in Ho Chi Minh City, teaching & travelling in Vietnam.

Your life seems so interesting now.
Anyway I am now an obsessive k-pop fan. (random for a girl who has barely left the US in her life) My favorite group is Beast. (I learned of k-pop from their debut and saw them on YT) Its just so addictive. I am now really interested in Korea, its culture, and music.
I found your blog about a month ago and haven’t had much time to read it and I really wanted to comment and I didn’t know where to but now I did.

How could I ever forget you?! I remember every second I spent at Echo 🙂 I’m glad you’re enjoying the blog, Korea is a fantastic country. If you get the chance to visit- go! P.S. Girl’s Generation are the best.

    Hi Nicky & Rhys,
Wish you were here – tandy cakes are great and Burns is making meatballs.

Sadly, Mr. Jim, Ms Linda, & Carol could not come due to ill parents. Daniel has possibly broken his wrist, your mom had her “dance injury” and your dad’s back is killing him. No one brought a big truck – it is a weird year. Lauren and her boyfriend and Kyle are arriving late today. We miss you!

    Take care and be safe.
Love, mom, dad, Ms. Peg, Mr. Phil, Mr. Ken, Ms. Bets, Burns, Speed, Mr. Chris, Mr. Jim, Ms. Donna, Nick, Eric, Daniel, Jimmy, Donny, David, Michael, Emily.

  5. Great photos! You look so happy!
    Thanks for sharing.
